at some point around/just after the 1977 mark was when he fully experienced mind break and became Mutt. he doesn't have an official age at any point of this timeline cause that's not really a detail that matters to me, all I know is in 1979 he's in his 20s. he's also a good boy and hasn't done anything wrong ever (as long as u ignore the atrocities)

been working more on figuring out Mutt's backstory and I ended up drawing a "transition timeline" (slash updated ref sheet) for him. and I'm in love with him a lot

I made an M.J for Hobie’s universe

here some info on them

Their intersex, they like going by they/them pronouns since it’s more comfortable for them but they definitely do not mind others referring them as something else

Their full name is

Milani jeen wiltz, but either go by Mil jeen or M.J

Their grandparents went to start a better life however after  a few decades after their parents went out to live in Britain due to economic reasons and also spread the word of the black panther party. Mil would be 7 around this time (I did the math, since Hobie is either around 20 or 19 and the date he was arrested in was around 1978 in one of the flashbacks to his intro. We can assume that he was born around near the end of the 50s so I made Mil’s date if birth 1959.)

Mil is of Haitian descent and is fluent in creole so half the time they’ll be speaking in creole

As I mentioned their parents are activists due to them being in the Black panther party, Mil did develop this trait from both of their parents and became involved in activism as well, mostly protest art and civil rights. 

(Originally I was going to make them the prowler for Hobie’s dimension but I decided against it but I will put subtle hint here and there to reference that when I make art of them.)

Around the time Hobie became Spider punk is when they met Hobie. A few months after he killed osborn. They had become a big fan of him after the incident and looked up to him a lot, kinda freaking out Hobie due to the fact he barely became Spiderman.

However they started hanging around eacj other more, going on little platonic graffiti dates. He did eventually reveal his Identity to them and they immediately fell in love with him. And 4 years after they’re still together, and are both still dumbasses 

Fun facts:

 Mil is Polyamorous but like quad dynamics more (ahem *taps on mic* is involved with spider noir and possibly my spider sona as well. Blame Hobie.)

They love making arts and crafts and do love engineering as well. Mostly helping Hobie with his new invention ideas. 

They own a daisy rock heartbreaker guitar in hot red, since the brand came out in 2000 logically this wouldn’t be possible without Hobie’s dimension hopping watch, so due to this Hobie went into one of the peter parker dimensions to get this for them for an anniversary present.

They do not live with Hobie however do live near the docks to be closer to Hobie’s house boat.

They love different genres of musical c and fashion mostly being punk,goth and earthy/bohemian music. 

Main colors of emotions are mostly pink, grey, yellow and purple. Most of these are due to the one around them. Pink and Purple are mainly because of Hobie or Spider noir Peter parker.

Love roller skating around places and even put in wheels in their mary janes

DOAI Possum Ramble 2 Electric Boogaloo: The Office

So basically if you already got what’s to know about the Modern Prometheus AU, then you most likely know about the whole “Lankmann feeling the eyes of the writers of this AU”/“If Pastra isn’t writing this story, then who is?” thing. Well, as shown in the last coupla reblogs of this thread, one idea is that we (the DOAI tumblr fandom) are basically all doing our fandom craziness in some kinda big office setting where we’re able to peer into the AUs we make via eyes, those eyes appearing somewhere in the world when we’re observing.

So basically what’s to know is that the inside of the building itself doesnt really follow the rules of reality all too much, it’s just doing it’s own thing to go along with our own craziness. Each member of DOAIblr has their own hallway of sorts, representing ourselves as creators. Some people’ve already started designing their own hallways!! Each hallway has doors (number of doors varying per person) leading towards different office spaces (which will be talked about a bit more later) representing the AUs we’ve created. If an AU has multiple creators, the door will manifest in several hallways.

The Sitcom AU door is pretty much a wildcard and is basically in everyone’s hallway, as that doesn’t really have a “creator” and is a big hodgepodge of everyone’s ideas and stuff (@purplechaosguardian sparked the original idea for it but being completely honest this au doesnt truly “belong” to one or a few people, it’s kind of a big group effort). It might as well be its own hallway with how absolutely huge it is.

I like to imagine that if an AU isn’t revealed to the public just yet (i.e @blazefirefox ‘s swap au as seen in her hallway), then to anyone who isn’t a creator the door kinda looks like what a door in Encanto looks like before a Madrigal kid gets their gift, if you’ve seen that movie. To a non-creator, it’s basically a regular door radiating with creative energy, if you listen closely you can hear small barely intelligible whispers of lore and ideas. Until it’s revealed to the public, only the creator(s) can see what the door really looks like, and only the creator(s) can get into it.

Getting into the offices themselves, the insides are basically amalgamations of different elements of the AUs themselves, all of them having different sheets inside for character refs and character sheets and lore and etc etc. For some decor examples, the inside of the Williams Foundation AU office would most likely be bathed in green and have various gadgets and etc for sciencey stuff™️. The Ragstra’s Show AU office would most likely resemble the backstage of a theater, with some mannequins/dolls and thread strung about.

What’s important to note is that each and every office has an Orb™️ in the center, representing the AU itself. The orb in the sitcom au basically takes up half the room with how big it is. (One thing to note: the orb for the Modern Prometheus AU starts to crack once Lankmann realizes the 4th wall/the writers)

The orb also acts as a way to “observe” and peer into the AU, said observing being how the eyes manifest into the world of the AU. Of course, the eyes shouldn’t be visible to the characters of the AU. *casually uses this as an opportunity to show off some of my own wip eye designs* *I plan to do more but this is what I did so far lmao*

These are all based on respective sonas/representative ocs ahehe (Idk what color the Tigera eyes would be but the Ark eyes are supposed to be teal lmao I just pulled it from a wip sketch) (Also purplechaosguardian doesnt have a sona iirc so in my mind theyre just Big Fuckin Purple Eyes heh)

Also this isn’t necessarily worldbuilding important but I think it’s fun to note: A potential scenario in the Modern Prometheus AU where someone accidentally no-clips out of the office and into the AU since the fourth wall is already breaking and someone has to come get them so there’s no more existential crises lmao

on the left that’s marble pie from the show. pinkie’s sister. and that is octavio pie on the right. pinkie’s brother. from the silly pony life show. identical in design to marble, and not mentioned once in any of the many friendship is magic episodes about pinkie’s family. that’s because these are before and after transition pictures. i doubt anyone thinks of pony life as canon, but if it were then what im saying would be straight up canon. like not even headcanon.

one of the reasons people headcanon trixie as trans is she uses some animation assets normally used for the boy ponies. the only one i remember is her irises, but i seem to remember she may have also had a bigger horn? i don’t know if there’s any headcanons to form from that lol. but i like coming up with really alien biologies. like maybe some ponies wear contacts as an affirmation thing? that’s weird but it’s kinda cool to me. also possibly getting horns reshaped somehow

also i think they probably do transitions with magic. or maybe they do it with potions. but whatever they do its all fancy and whimsical like the rest of the stuff they do. when trixie and twilight had that magic duel they said no one can do the spell that “turns a mare into a stallion” but that’s not really what gender affirming procedures do anyway.

i realize now i talked mostly about affirming procedures and not just hrt, but close enough. i think your cutiemark changes magically when you redefine your own identity for yourself. also this is just a headcanon i have. i’m not denying the transness of ponies who’s cutiemarks stayed the same through transition.

Decided to do a piece for my tma-sona esc lore..

This is very summarize-y and it’s kinda shitty but I thought I might as well just dump abt it just bc

obvi, aligned with the dark, clearly. My sona is very intertwined with @cupsy-daisy 's magnus sona also. Though lore wise, my sona had moved to the UK with cup living in the same flat. My sona had a degree in library science, and before the institute, was looking for local library jobs. There, during job searching, my sona had found a Leitner themed around the dark. Took it home and read it, the contents of the book almost rendering my sona blind and almost made them become an avatar, but the book was knocked away before that could happen. Creating a more intense fear of the dark than before, but kept the book hidden away regardless. Then, being recommended for a job at the institute as a library assistant or library technician. Getting the job (a few months before s1 happens) and bonding with martin in the library. She doesnt interact with many besides martin, and bringing jon along with others some books. Since htheer work was near the upper institute, she didnt rlly have much trouble regarding the worm incident. Though when jon was going crazy in s2 from paranoia she really still wanted to believe the best in him. Talking with martin a lot about, maybe hes just stressed. Even though he's been literally stalking everyone. Come the end of s2 where jon was about to destroy the table, he had asked everyone to go home early. My sona was in the library so she didnt get the memo as she was in her own little area. Trying to see where everyone was she found the entrance jon used for the tunnels and followed him, finding him when he broke the table. The exchange was quick in the confusion but it ultimately led to jon and my sona running through the tunnels holding on to each other trying to get away from the not!them. All the while of jon feeling shitty and guilty, she was just trying to reassure him even with how scared she was, especially being in such a dark place, but knew he was scared too. She decided to try splitting up to create a distraction for the not!them, running till eventually entering a michael door. Having a brief interaction with helen in there, but making it out and meeting up with martin and tim come s3, she doesnt think jon killed somene, especially seeing him so vulnerable in the tunnels and talks to martin a lot about it since he shares the same sentiment. When it's revealed he didn't, she's relieved and starts bringing books to georgie's place to help him research, but her, along with cup, had brought things over at the wrong time, bc then jon got kidnapped, and so did cup when they intended to have a word with him as they were a witness. So my sona's best friend and jon are kidnapped, kind of a big mess. If you couldn't tell, she bonds with martin a lot. Long story short, they both get outta there via helen obvi, things are nice and good. I take some time off to help cup with recovering from being kidnapped.

Between s3 and 4 not much else happens, really just trying to stay connected with Martin, and my friend’s sona but the lonely kinda gets them, and trying to stay connected with jon but he’s all over the place. A lot of after s3, my sona is been getting along with Helen a lot, bonding and falling for her false kindness and niceties. Starting to spend more time in the tunnels with her. After a while, Jon approaches my sona in with the intention of learning more about her experiences with the dark. Eventually giving him a statement based on the leitner book, her explaining how she’d never want to anyone to ever have to read the book ever. But in the meantime that Peter is getting Martin prepared for everything, and the main big bang of s4 is about to happen, my sona has been talking with Helen the most, and with the method to sever one’s self from the institute, I thought of her starting to slowly convince me to sever myself by reading that leitner again. Everyone is gone or hates each other, maybe it’d be better off to be free from that place. The last time my sona and Jon talk she’s heading to the tunnels with bag in hand intending to read it there, but she gives him one last goodbye

And she isn’t seen until s5 in the area with the dark. Fully pitch black, Martin and Jon going through, cant see a thing, but they have the feeling of being watched and now by Jon. Either of them feel a hand maybe touch their backs, or a hand touch their hair. Martin reminds Jon of his lighter to see what’s in the dark, and it shows her, no eyes in the sockets, just fully dark and this almost silhouette of what she was. They have a very neutral talk, some slight convincing from her to get them to stay, to sever their connection and make them blind too, but in the end letting them go on their merry way through the rest of the eye-pocolypse

There’s obvi more details than just that but I wanted to just get it all together best I could lol

It was just a normal morning for Alune, waking up, making herself coffee since she wasn't rested at all and going to check the emails which flooded in by night. Untill she opened one by someone she's never seen before. It was an invitation for her and the band to a FoxFire show. Oh shit. She went to ask the boys, wanting to see if they had the time for that. Surprisingly they all agreed. Good.

As the date came, everyone was excited, but especially Yone. It was not everyday you get invited to a show by one of the best rappers in existence. However, the rest of the boys were also pretty excited. Especially since it was rumoured you were going to reveal your identity at the show.

As the show began, Paranoia started playing? The boys looked around surprised, unitll they heard FoxFires producer tag and it remixed into a totally different song, I mean it was still Paranoia but it was all so... rearranged. It sounded so good, maybe almost better than the original. Almost

she's not a known oc of mine, specifically because I didn't develop her directly. and have a special connection to her that is more occult and studious than artistic.

her cutiemark itself is a give away of the way she was developed indirectly as an avatar of my imagination and female aspects mentally that involve creation and study. a lot of this is deep occult and mentalism. its hard to get into here because of its...idiosyncratic qualities.----

however I am able to share details about her, its not directly up to "me" to express her existence, her Meer existence as a thing in my mind running my imagination and urges to learn are yogic and very *self* intimate. its that male and female internal union. -but she may make some appearances occasionally as she did want me to include a sona for her as a pony cx it was a ride watching my arm move and make it up on the fly XD. Mira is a almost voiceless individual, she expresses herself in body language and gesturing to external beings when drawn. to me its direct emotional expression. I know how she feels through my own emotions basically, she's the pilot to the centers of my mind that I don't actively run. but she will info dump when asked.

she's nearly all-knowing. the limiting factor is me and what im able to comprehend as she draws in new knowledge. she can answer almost any spiritual based questions or those about the mind and soul. she's highly occult and scientific, her joy is finding the fringe line where science and physics becomes spiritual at its furthest boundaries.

she's an isolationist and a stoic, making her an observer and a silent protector at times. solving problems and unknown issues before they become active spreading issues for others at large.

she is affectionate and almost cat like when I give awareness and attention to her side of my mind, meditation is where she's most active.

highly artistic and obsessive. leads to her obsessively drawing and praticing many mediums. her favorite is chemistry. (she considers it art lol)

Well, it's an interesting story, but one that'll make sense after some wine, I'm sure. Trying to understand the machinations of my mind is like reading a boring quantum physics textbook that'd be more entertaining if burned for s'mores.

Short answers:

North American because I AM North American. Also freshwater swimming mammal, which is what I am IRL.

Why: basically always was a furry gamer (played animal races in every video game or DND thing), just decided to be real about it instead of hiding it internally

North American, well, yes, I am

Otter=swimmer. Same page, right? Well, I initially was going for a sona that was a mammal and swam. I thought about a beaver, as they build things like damns and live in water, but didn't like the look as much. I narrowed onto the mustilid family because I like the snake cats, as Ze Frank calls them.

North American River Otter was actually because, well, I'M North American. Being from the US, I was wanting something at least from the same continent, but I was also wanting something that swam in fresh water, since that's what I swim in. The NA River Otter, was just the right amount of all of these.

When and Why

As to when and why: the why is probably because I've always been a closeted one. I always played the Khajiit Skyrim character, the Leonin or Dragonborn DND character, the most animal-like race of any game where you get to pick your character. I had a lot of furry hate for a long time cause I saw it as disgusting. Funnily enough, this was my take on being gay as well, so I guess I can blame my Christian raising for that. Turns out, the stuff I was repulsed by the most were later revealed to be aspects of myself that I likely hated because they were a part of me and I didn't actively realize it.

I can't really tell you why I was this way, just that it's always been a part of my life and its only as of recent I decided to reflect on it and live it without hiding. I also came out as bisexual (I'm currently mostly just gay, but I wouldn't mark out finding the right woman to marry still), about a year and a half before becoming a furry, so the path was kinda laid out towards getting over those old self hates.

The when is probably officially January 2024, but I started investigating around December 2023 when I decided to commission a ref sheet for what I thought would be my sona. But later, after finding @galileogb's otter model for VRChat and attending PDFC, I fell in love with this model and the idea of furry, and thus it was my sona.

The IKEA Story

There was one hiccup in that month of January, however. Just before finding Civ's model, I wasn't happy with that sona ref sheet I had gotten, and I couldn't redraw it in personal art for lack of ability. I had been questioning whether being a furry was what I wanted, so around that time, I decided to give up the idea. BUT, I was driving to Phoenix to go to IKEA and grab some furniture, and somehow I was stopped for lunch and learned that PDFC, Phoenix's early January Fur Con, was occurring. Somehow, I thought it was a good idea to just see what was going on. While I basically just sat in a corner for the whole time, a very nice, older lady sat next to me, asking how I was. She had an awesome opossum suit that was veiled, and kinda looked like a Dishonored character but with green accenting. She really made me gather up my courage to take a second look at furry stuff cause I wasn't sold by just being there alone. The next day I found the Civ base model, and the rest is history.

I think I can literally blame three things for finally giving in to becoming a furry: IKEA, that nice older lady, and @galileogb. I can't really thank yall enough. I hope to go back to PDFC this year and give that lady the real thanks she deserves if I can find her.

On the case of the Civil Otterneer name, that was just a random perfect thought I had. I knew I'd impart my civil engineering work into my sona cause if this sona was going to be as large a part of my life as my work, then there should be some reflectivity. Then, I just thought Civ was a good shortened 'name' for him to be personable after coming up with the whole thing.

hi i finally made a spidersona :) they are a Very new character to me and are kinda stuck in concept limbo, but the main gist of their story is that they were turned into a werewolf when they were a pre-teen, learned how to deal with it, and then oops! also got bit by a radioactive spider and has to deal with THAT as well now. worst luck known to man </3

Industrialist, my scug OC! (and kinda my scugsona) He is a purposed organism built for repairing iterator superstructures, and he moves using the four arms attached to his back, so basically doc ock style movement. The arms can unravel to reveal an intricate array of microtools, and is even capable of producing enough thrust for short-term flight! Industrialist is also my sona for writing. The stuff I write on AO3 under LowOctaneGasoline, I'd like to think he got those drafts typed up somewhere in his residence as well.

ALSO ive been meaning to ask: were the flowers chosen/assigned with any symbolism in mind? i feel like you might be the kinda schemer to consider such things

1. Yes, each flower was assigned specifically to their role based on symbolism and its history :) I will reveal those with the refs as they are posted!

2. Go crazy! You can come up with as much lore as you want leading up to when you joined the family, and you can decide overall how Rose really “discovered” you and invited you into the mob as well.
